MLG have recently announced that they will be hosting the next CS:GO Valve sponsored Major in Coloumbus, from March 29th – April 3rd. The event will be held in the Nationwide arena, with a $250,000 prize pool.

 

Typical of many CS:GO events, 8 teams will be invited to the major, with 8 other teams being selected from a LAN, taking place from January 15th – 17th. Mlg have also announced the teams that have been invited to complete the major, which including Team EnVyUs, Fnatic, Virtus.pro, formerly Team Solomid, G2 Esports, Natus Vincere, Ninjas in Pyjamas (with their new roster) and Luminosity gaming.

 

Spectators will now be able to watch not only the semi finals and the finals, but also the quarter finals, as fans previously complained that there was a severe lack of games available for the public to watch. It will be the first major ever to be held in North America
